“Visiscope technicians” were called into assist a N.Z. based multinational manufacturing company applying wrapping material to both key NZ & overseas food production plants.
Operating a purpose designed 360o viewing lense via a 20m working length, the technicians were able to locate defects in process flow pipe work that had been causing defects in the finished product.
As a result of this urgent inspection service the company engineers were able to plan remedial work, minimise production downtime, maintenance costs, & continue to ensure high finished product quality, and in doing so protect their company brand image.
Should this defect had not been identified and rectified early there would have been a risk that product may have had to be recalled from their overseas clients. Such a recall would result in large profit losses.
