With the recent Christchurch earthquakes Visiscope has recently undertaken concrete blockwork cavity surveys in the Wellington region to assist structural engineering companies make their seismic assessments. The purpose of the inspection was to determine:
- Have the Blockwork ties actually been installed as per the drawings and specifications ??.
- What is the condition of the ties ??
- Are there ties actually in the wall ??
Both video and still images were taken to enable the engineering staff to compile their reports.
