Swinging Stage Davit anchors were internally surveyed to check the condition of RHS steelwork. The videoscope inspection revealed significant corrosion to the inside wall of the RHS section. Further NDT inspection was also necessary to check the wall thickness of the RHS section. Extensive remedial works have now been undertaken. Should these structural elements remained un checked potential failure could of occurred resulting in potentially very serious injury.
